This is one example of Spectrum's custom design
and engineering capability. This product was engineered and built by Spectrum
for a wireless telecommunications company. Spectrum produced and shipped more than 1000 units of this product over its design lifetime.

It incorporates a GPS-disciplined, ovenized 10 MHz oscillator
(OCXO), an 8-channel GPS timing receiver, full VME bus compliance, a
proprietary TDMA frame clock generator synchronized to a selected PPS,
synchronized switching power supply, a PLL-controlled E1 frequency synthesizer,
autonomous function and signal monitoring with alarm outputs, serial time
message output, Spectrum's exclusive FastStart™ technology, and
field-upgradeable firmware and logicware.
