This is another example of Spectrum's design
expertise. This product was also engineered for a wireless communications
company. It
originally started as a VME compatible design, but later evolved into a more
custom form-factor. This product features a very high-quality, GPS disciplined
ovenized oscillator with exceptionally high spectral purity, Spectrum's
exclusive FastStart™ technology, 8-channel GPS timing receiver,
serial ASCII output of all operating parameters and data in broadcast or
polling mode, field-upgradeable firmware and logicware, full operation under
temperature extremes, and an MTBF of 75 years.
This product is no longer manufactured. Spectrum shipped more than 1000
units over the product's lifetime.
